Coming out of hiding

Wow I feel like such a hypocrite. I think I am always the one to post a comment on anothers blog when its only been a week since they've posted something and say ..."Good freak, give us an update" And here I am taking two months to finally post some pictures, but thats it, thats all i got-pictures no events, no exciting news, just boring pictures. I feel like our lives have been so busy, but with what? That I couldn't tell you because I'm not sure myself. I guess thats just the life of being a mom, I feel like I am always running around like a chicken with its head cut off, but if you asked me at the end of the day what I did, I wouldn't know what to say. It seems like the simplest errand can now take forever with a child. My rule is to add an hour for every errand i have to run, so if I plan on going to walmart AND the dollar store, I would need to add an extra TWO hours to the amount of time it would typically take me to run to walmart and the dollar store. Do I have some serious issues, or can anyone else relate?

Anyway, here are some pictures updating you on the last two months, of course there are no pictures of Arch and I, just Zaylie--hope you enjoy.

Future model? haha

She was a crazy child up until we put her on the luv sac, and the second she sat on it, it was as if she knew it was a place to relax--we couldn't get her to smile, talk or move, she just sat there for about 5 minutes.

We joke about this face as her greeting face...this is the face she makes when she says hello, she puckers up her lips and sticks out her tongue.

Don't feel bad, I do the same thing. It has been forever since I have posted. Zaylie's eyes are so big and beautiful. I have sad news, we are not going to come in December. It just isn't going to work out. However, my dad is starting a job in Utah the first of November, so that means I will definately be heading out west sometime soon:) Thanks for sharing the pictures of your adorable family. Tell your parents hi!!!

Shantay -

Believe, even though it has been years, I can still remember those days. I was always organized, regimented, and then along came baby #1 and things change. Look at it this way... a women's life is in seasons. Girl, wife, mother, wife again. You are in your mother mode now and that is your job. You will have your time (and sanity) again, but for now you are in a beautiful season! Enjoy,
Love Shelly

Finally an update! I love looking at your blog and that baby is too darn cute! I needed to really quick tell you that we blocked our blog from the public but we sent out the invitation for our friends to still view it. I didn't want to leave you out but I don't have an email address to send it to. So could email it to me, then I can send the invitation to view the blog.
Thanks,
Becky
