Family Pictures

These were taken in October and for any of you who remember our family pictures from last year, yes we are in the same colors...my mom's orders. Anyway Zaylie was taking "you want me to do what now?" pills so needless to say it was quite the adventure. Here are a few of the pictures we ended up with. Oh and by the way after two hours of taking pictures my mom wasn't satisfied with ANY of them, so thats right folks three weeks later we were back at it, those pictures I haven't gotten yet, so if there are any worthy pictures ill post them later.

Oh and here are some pictures of Zaylie for those of you who are ready to disown me as friends for not posting picture of my child. :)

Things started out okay...

Then a melt down...

We bribed her with candy...

and things were fine...she's eating in our pictures, but fine...

however I only had one candy bar in my purse...

Finally she peaced out.

Arch and his bros

Me and Cass

And the Zaydster

This is the best we could do she's not smiling but it was a long day and she was a trooper.

way cute pictures. I love the progression of fine, melt down, bribing her with candy, her eating the candy, then another melt down, then fine. that's kids for ya. She's getting so big! I need to meet her!

I love family pictures! But they sure are hard to take with little kids. :) I'm scared I'm going to be like your mom when my kids grow up...I don't like any of them...let's do it again. :) I like the last one.

Nice commentary on the melt down. I used to get so mad at my sister in law for not controlling her child for family pictures...now I am getting payback. Leah is quite an independant thing, much like another child I know, whose name starts with a Z, and she refuses to be held. She turns into a tornado, and then its total chaos. Good times.

Zaylie is getting so big! And yes, pictures are SO hard to take with a toddler....I give up and just say, "well, lets just take the picture as they are, that is what they do every day all day any way...so why make them be different." Unfortunately our pics will be ruined for a lot of years, she is dang cute though!

Cute pictures. Plus your trip ones look like it was fun even though it was a million degrees. I think we should try to do one with all the group somewhere, even if its St. George again or somethin, next summer or spring.
